    It might be crashing...

    If you are testing on emulator then enable Tools>>Extended Panic Code & if you are testing on device then install ErrRd.sis file to know about the cause of panic.

    In your various threads in the past, it has been advised to have the extended panic code enabled..various times..seems like you did not check on the past solutions to the similar problem

    The first hit in Google for gto_india panic site:nokia.com happens to be http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...t-is-displayed. Guess if it contains the link, actually twice. 3 months ago.

    I have installed Y-Tasks Crash monitor in my device to find the panic error. My application name is PLACEADS .

    Have you put logging in start of your AppUi ConstructL?
    Try to find the exact line you are crashing. Then fix it.

    KERN-EXEC means that you most likely have null pointer somewhere you are trying access.

    Re: When clicked on the installed application 's icon Nothing Happens

    R u talking about this as below:

    void CPLACEADSAppUi::ConstructL()
    {
    // Initialise app UI with standard value.
    BaseConstructL(CAknAppUi::EAknEnableSkin);

    // Create view object
    iAppView = CPLACEADSAppView::NewL(ClientRect());

    // Create a file to write the text to
    TInt err = CCoeEnv::Static()->FsSession().MkDirAll(KFileName);
    if ((KErrNone != err) && (KErrAlreadyExists != err))
    {
    return;
    }

    RFile file;
    err = file.Replace(CCoeEnv::Static()->FsSession(), KFileName, EFileWrite);
    CleanupClosePushL(file);
    if (KErrNone != err)
    {
    CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy(1); // file
    return;
    }

    RFileWriteStream outputFileStream(file);
    CleanupClosePushL(outputFileStream);
    outputFileStream << KText;

    CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy(2); // outputFileStream, file

    Well something like that.
    You should search for RFileLogger or similar logging method to provide easier logging.

    It's basic software development: set logging and search for the line where the crash happens. Then figure out why.
    We are unable to help if we don't know the exact line where your application crashes.
