    Signing a j2me app.

My j2me app as it uses location api prompts for user permission as it is not a trusted app.
I want to make the procedure to make it trusted.

Go for the Ovi Store and Nokia does this for you.

    Hello as.kulkarni67,

To get your MIDlet suite digitally signed, you need to turn to a certificate authority (CA). Device manufacturers and mobile carriers are examples of certificate authorities, but they usually sign only the applications they distribute themselves. So normally you turn to well-known 3rd Party CAs like JavaVerified, Verisign and Thawte who, among other signing services, provide services for Java application code signing. For information on which 3rd Party CAs are by default supported in Nokia devices, see Supported Root Certificates .
For more information about the quote, please see Java Developer's Library here:

    Java Developer's Library 3.13 > Developer's guides > Security > MIDP security > Signing a MIDlet suite

It would be good for you to go through the Signing FAQ http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...n_my_MIDlet.3F
