Question How to detect when keyboard is open in devices as E7, C6.01

    hi all,

Is there an API to monitor keyboard status - if there is any - and whether it is open or not?

    thanks all,

Did you meant to identify if VKB is active or not, if yes then follow this: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ring_VKB_state

No, I'm talking about the physical keyboard not the virtual.

I found that it needs an internal API that is not available in public SDK, too bad

Using the Keylock API may suit part of your use cases as well.
