    ISSUE #1: FAILED: Invalid UID

    Hi everyone!
I'm developing a game by Qt for Symbian. I have finished it but when i submit it to QA, i got a message that :
" Comments from the QA team:
    Failed QA.
    ISSUE #1: FAILED: Invalid UID
SUMMARY: The application includes a UID not assigned to the publisher by Nokia. Our processes for signing content requires the UID displayed in the application to match a UID assigned to the publisher by Nokia.
The UID/SID displayed in your application is: 200650E6
    "
How can i fix that issue? This is the first time i submit a Qt app for Symbian. Please help me! Thanks!

Basically if you are thinking of using Nokia Store signing, you must use the UIDs provided by the Nokia store. So check the publicing guide for help on the process: http://info.publish.nokia.com/?p=886

And then see what the QA is giing for the reason for failing, and fix it. If it is still abut the UIDs, then do full cleanup with your project builds and rebuild fully after changing the UID in all required places, and then make sure you did get it done in a way that all UIDs are changed correctly.

You get the UIDs from Symbian Signed if you plan to get your application Symbian Signed certified and then submit it, ready signed, to Nokia Publish, for distribution only.
If you don't plan to use Symbian Signed's certification schemes, and want Nokia Publish to sign the application for you, then you cannot use UIDs offered by Symbian Signed. Instead ask Nokia Publish to give you UIDs. For more info see https://www.developer.nokia.com/Dist..._signing.xhtml
