    Qt SDK could not be installed on desktop - Windows XP

    I am not able to install Qt SDK on Windows XP. Error is :

    Error during installation process(com.nokia.ndk.tools.madde.usbdriver):
    Execution failed( Unexpected exit code : -2147418112): "C: QtSDK\madde\usbdriver\DPInst.exe/SE/SA/SW"

    What should i do?

    just a quick query, do you have admin rights to your desktop?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to ignore this error and continue installation

    If you are not working on Madde devices, that is N900/N9 it should not hamper your work atleast. Meanwhile i will check if i can find out a work around

    As far as I know, Desktop is actually located in c:\documents and settings\(username)\desktop

    Rule of thumb: Don't ever install any development tool to a folder that has a space in its path (unless the tool is made by Microsoft).

    There is nothing wrong with the plain old C:\QtSDK...
