Question How do you know if a StandardMarker, is inside a route?

im working in a tracking system, we want to put, every minute or 3 minutes a StandardMarker in a map.
we want to know when we put the mark on the map if that mark is inside a defined route.
    Can you help me?
    we are using the example:

First of all I should mention the Ovi API are being deprecated I strongly urge to switch to Nokia Maps API (api.maps.nokia.com). Ovi was rebranded to Nokia and the signatures of the APIs are quite similar so switching should be easy and you will heat maps, places, KML and mobile support as a bonus (see for list of examples http://api.maps.nokia.com/en/playground/env/nojs/).

To answer your question of determining intersection between a marker and a route, I think map.getObjectsAt is the best method to determine this.
Have a look at this example http://api.maps.nokia.com/en/playgro.../tracking.html
Don't have time tonight but I will try to write you an example tomorrow..

i have a look in http://api.maps.nokia.com/en/playgro.../tracking.html but, in that example, the route have a list of points, but, in a route, just like in http://api.maps.nokia.com/en/playgro...xample_routing you dont have that list of points, theres is a way to ask for that list of points? how are you doing with the example that you say ?

    m using this example
    http://api.maps.nokia.com/en/playgro...xample_routing

what i want to do is get the polyline from the result, and in a function, send the coordinate of a point, and by using the polyline`s getNearest (coord)
know how much separate is the coordinate of the route

can you help me with that?
