Nokia for Java SDK 2.0 Emulator running very slow

    Hi,
I'm trying to make a Java ME game using multitouch and sensor features for Nokia full touch devices, so right now i'm using the Nokia Java SDK 2.0.
My problem is that the emulator is running much slower than the default Java ME emulator. I tried running all the sample games and i have the same results. Some sample games, such as Explonoid even ran at approx. 1-3 fps.
The emulator ran even worse in landscape mode but this is expected based on the SDK release notes.

So my question is, is this normal or my system is at fault?
    I'm using:
    1. Java SE SDK 6 u27
    2. Intel Core2Duo 3.3 Ghz
    3. 4GB RAM
    4. Windows XP SP3

I have tried disabling Windows Firewall, Anti-virus, but I still get the same result.

Task manager CPU usage monitor = 5-9% when the emulator is running a MIDlet.

are you ready to try in your device? not in emulator ,you must modify again code in sample --->chek timer task and change value in timer task

No, I haven't tried it on the device yet. The midlet that I'm writing is set at 15 fps, but the performance on the emulator is around 5 fps.

What I really want to know is whether my system caused this or not. So anyone who have tried using the emulator, please tell me about its performance.

I assume they are part of the SDK in the title. In that case you can download it from Resources above, Tools and downloads, Download SDKs for Series 40 Java apps.
When you open the Resources "menu" above, you will also notice the Code examples section. There you can also find Java ME examples, including games.

Thank you wizard_hu_. I was able to find Explonoid.

@thekrake: Explonoid is also running on low fps on my emulator.
    Nokia SDK 2.0
    Windows 7 Home x64
    AMD Phenom X4 9750
    Radeon HD 4870
    8GB DDR2 Ram
    750GB HDD

After installing Explonoid and closing the emulator, I was not able to start up the emulator again. I had to manually remove the files in order to make it work again.

@UnPlan2ned: Thank you for the information.
Currently I'm using the WTK emulator to code the game logic, then later I'll use the Nokia emulator when I add the Nokia APIs.
