    Exclamation Unable to Open and Send *.dat File

    Hello,

    I m using data.dat file for database information storage. I wanted to send it to server for that i need its pointer and need to open that file using filesession RFs. but when using function
    Code:
     File.Open(fs, Filename ,EFileRead | EFileShareAny)
    it gives error -14 .
    Can anyone help me to send this type of file at server ?

    Error codes are summirized at the wiki: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ki/Error_codes , you should check that you do close the file before trying to read it.

    I try it by closing Database.

    Hi, just one additional thing. In case you are certain that the file is not being written to while you are reading it. You could also use ReadFileSection() function implemented with RFs
