    Creating Buttons for the application..

    Hi guys,

    I am trying to create Buttons in my application.

    void CRipplevaultContainer::HandleResourceChange( TInt aType )
    {
    CCoeControl::HandleResourceChange( aType );
    SetRect( iAvkonViewAppUi->View( TUid::Uid( ERipplevaultContainerViewId ))->ClientRect());

    // [[[ begin generated region: do not modify [Generated Contents]
    // ]]] end generated region [Generated Contents]
    }
    In the upper code which is generated when i created UI through carbide i am getting error Undefined Identifier ERipplevaultContainerViewId.

    that would be your own view UID, so check whether it is defined, and if it is not, then see what is actually defined for your view and use it. And if it is defined, make sure you have the header defining it included in a way that its seen from the place of this code.

    What do you mean by navigator ?

    Basically you should not use buttons with non-touch, they are really hard to use, thus you should design more menu-driven UI's for them

    Exception being WRT Widgets, which in you can use the 'mouse cursor'
