Cannot install Nokia WebTools 2.0 for Windows

I have Nokia WebTools 1.5 in my current Windows 7 Desktop. I am now trying to install v2.0, and the following message comes up. Installer Integrity check has failed.
Common causes incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer author to obtain a new copy.

    Please help.

    sjraza@ntlworld.com

PS:Nokia WebBuilder App Tool is also not working - it does not accept RSS feed url address.

I think Nokia really need to address s/w reliability.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

    Hi

I've moved this to the web apps discussion board, because there will be more expertise here.

Did you try downloading a new version of the installer - the message seems to indicate that the version you downloaded is corrupted.

    Regards
    Hamish

Hi maxplus12 and welcome to forum!

Thanks for the feedback. Xpress Web App Builder (http://xpresswebapps.nokia.com) is in beta stage, where this kind of problems are being ironed out.
Could you share the URL you tried to use? XWAB should accept direct links to RSS feeds as well as to be able to find RSS links from a web page.

No, I did not downloaded the new version of the installer. I am not aware that I need the installer. I just downloaded the file of file size of about 161MB and clicked to run it. Are you suggesting that I need the installer before running the WebTool 2? Where can I get the installer please?

The RSS's URL address is as follow: http://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/uk/rss.xml

Try the other ones found in this link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10628494

    Hi,

I tried with that URL and for me it worked, in addition XWAB was able to find the feed from the page.
When you tired this, were you using “Feed” content or some other option?

Please delete the old Web Tools installation file from the hard disk and try to download it again. CRC error suggest that something has gone wrong when downloading the web tools.
