    Send emails from application with image attachment without using SMTP settings

    Hi,

    I want to send emails from my application with image attachment without any SMTP settings.

    To be very specific, what I want to do is ; On click on a button in the application , User should be able to send email with an image attached where I ask for recipient email Id and it should be sent to recipient mail id .

    Is there any way to do this ? I am using S40 LWUIT in the application.

    Thankx for reply.

    But this is not the one I am looking for I guess. This require SMTP settings right..?

    I don't want to do that. How can I use the default email client set in device ? If not set , need to ask for email client settings.

    Try platform request

    platformRequest("mailto:user@xyz.com?subject=Test&body=ok");
