Default connection mode for http traffic

    Hi all,

I have one doubt related to http traffic flow in windows phone,

Suppose on my phone i have both data connectivity i.e cellular data connection(say 3g) and wifi data connection, my question is which connection is used by default for http traffic from browser or from any application which uses data connection.

    Thanks.

As far as I know, the Wifi should always be prioritized by the OS.

If you open the connection on cellular data and then connect to Wifi it might keep using the connection via cellular data instead of opening a new one via Wifi. The next distinct request (without HTTP keep alive) should then go via Wifi. But yes, the faster connection is normally preferred.
