Post The acceptable HTTP request-response delay

I developed the client side of a certificate revocation validation application. The application is running well. However, the request-response delay took about 200 milliseconds in the wireless toolkit and about 450 milliseconds in the mobile phone (Nokia E66 s40 series 369 MHz). Is this delay is acceptable to the end user accoring to the standard? Please Help

Re: The acceptable HTTP request-response delay

    Hello and welcome to forum!

E66 is a Symbian device, hence this must be wrong area for this query
Anyhow 0.45 seconds doesn't sound that bad, in fact I would say that is a good result.

But as always, it is good to prepare for network connection issues, and show loading indicator, if loading takes longer than couple of seconds.

    Br,
    Ilkka
