    which Key to use in keyRepeated event

    i need to give keyRepeated fuctionality in my app, so please which key i use for this in nokia s60 series phone, and also how to capture event even if my app running in background.

    You can't capture key events if your app is in the background.

    What are you trying to achieve?

    i am trying to give emergency service on a particular key when pressed
    and tell me which key i can use for this

    You can receive key events only when your app is in the foreground and you are displaying a Canvas.

    You can't use the "hang-up" (END) key, or the menu key. You probably can't use the volume keys (I forget), media keys or camera key. Which pretty much leaves you with 0-9, *, #, direction and softkeys.

    Remember that not all devices have keys.

    It would take you about 30 minutes to write a test app and find out what key events you can get.
