    Getting API token for maps

    I go to https://api.developer.nokia.com/ovi-...ppNew&type=app...

    It says:

    This site allows you to request access to: Nokia's Music APIs.
    For access to Nokia Maps APIs, please visit the new Nokia Maps developer site: HERE Developer Site
    Well, I was directed to that page FROM the HERE Developer Site, so I'm directed round in circles...

    Where is the right place to go?

    Edit:
    Ah, I appear to be able to supply any rubbish to the API for the AppId and Token... is this correct?

    Check wiki for right ways for getting the keys: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ppID_and_Token Actually was wondering that last week, and Jason gave me the link, so I suppose it should be mentioned better in the API key page

    Re: Getting API token for maps

    Thanks - those do appear to be the correct instructions.

    However:

    Code:
    ApplicationContext appcon = ApplicationContext.getInstance();
    appcon.setAppID("SomeId");
    appcon.setToken("SomeToken");
    This appears to work fine, using the strings "SomeId" and "SomeToken" verbatim.

    Cheers,
    Graham.

    its likely that it will stop working someday, thus its better to use the official values there.
