Question NFC - Publisher & Subscriber

    Hi,

When publisher app is near or in the proximity of subscriber app then subscriber is displaying the published message. Publisher is not stopping publishing. So when both devices are in NFC range or proximity , then subscriber should continuosly receive the message again and again but I am getting message just once.

    Why this is happening?

Is this correct behaviour, if not then whats the correct one?

It may be filtered out using some message ID. I am not familiar with NFC, but this is how it happens in many networking protocols.

Yes that's true. When phone publishes message a message Id is generated which will be used later to stop publishing it. And if we are not stopping it in the code then it will keep publishing it. If after few seconds I will again bring the subscriber near publisher , it will again display the message, but if it continues to be near(NFC range) the publisher device , it wont display the message again and again.

Why this happens I am not sure about it?

The filtering is probably related to the ongoing physical connection, and gets restarted with creating a new one.

Re: NFC - Publisher & Subscriber

Ya so probably since the NFC connection is already established and subscriber had received the message it wont receive it again and as soon as the connection is disconnected and reconnecting again will send the message to the subscriber . thats how I think the in-built NFC framework works.

@wizard_hu_ Thanks for your input !!
