Help to select a Nokia Asha full-touch device for testing

    Hi All,

I want to test my web apps on a full-touch Nokia Asha device. I compared Asha 308, 309 and 310 for their features at the official developer site. Here's the comparison link - http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devic...Nokia_Asha_309

The main point of distinction between the above phones which concerns me are the parameters called UAProfile Link and Example User Agent Header.

What do UAProfile Link and Example User Agent Header exactly mean? Which device should i choose for testing my web apps based on these two parameters?

    Thanks,
    Anujit

You don't need to rely on those user agent parameters as such. Example UA header is the user agent header that would be sent with HTTP requests.. you can use it to identify the device and the browser.

If I were you, I would choose a full touch phone which has WiFi too.. so that I can test it for WiFi / mobile data (high/low speed) scenarios.

Nokia Asha 310 looks good, it's also a dual SIM device.

"Nokia Premium Developer Program" is distributing Nokia 310 So this model may be perfect for testing ..
OT: I am expecting one today !

A Nokia 305 might also be a good device to consider. It only has 32MB of RAM (the other devices have 64MB of RAM) and would be more ideal for lower-bound performance testing.
