    HTTP connection English/Italian

    Hi,

I have a very 'funny' effect on an older 7650 (FW 3.16): Our customer is in Italy and always gets an IOException on an HTTP connection with InputStream.read() when the phone is set on Italian language. When he switches the phone to English language, everything works.

It is _not_ the known problem with the HTTP/1.1, HTTP/1,1 problem because on our web server, we always receive HTTP/1.1 with both languages.

Any ideas how the language could have an effect on the InputStream.read() call?

As I remeber well, the operation system writes the Http version number in the Http header like a fraction which will cause HTTP/1,0 for Italian, German etc. Using the English language will make cause the correct HTTP/1.0
