    Re: front face camera recording

    Hello,

    You need to initialize the front camera as source
    Code:
    cam = new Microsoft.Devices.PhotoCamera(CameraType.FrontFacing);
    and don't forget to check if it's available on the phone
    Code:
    if (PhotoCamera.IsCameraTypeSupported(CameraType.FrontFacing))
    Hope it helps,
    Yassine

    Hello,

    Have you set the required capabilities in the manifest (for front and back camera) ?
    And is it possible to show us the snippet you're using ?

    Re: front face camera recording

    If the phone supports multiple cameras, use the GetAvailableVideoCaptureDevices method to obtain a collection of video capture phones. For example, some phones may have a front-facing camera and another camera on the back of the phone. It is also possible that the phone does not have a camera. In that case, the CameraNotSupported button state is used to disable the app bar buttons.

    regards,
    Rahul
