    Question LWUIT move all commands from the form to the "slide context menu"

    I'm sorry if i'm posting on the wrong place. I've searched the forum and do a lot trial and errors but couldn't get it right.

    I'm working on Asha Platform with LWUIT. Here's the picture of what I am expecting (it's from my UX designer):

    And I got this instead:

    Here's my code:

    Code:
    form.addCommand(cmdLanguage);
    form.addCommand(cmdHelp);
    Is there any way to achieve something like the first picture? I mean, all the commands should be hidden in the "slide context menu", instead of one of them forced to displayed on the bottom of the form.

    Thanks

    I am working on the same in LCDUI for four weeks now: No solution found, yet. There are demos in Nokia Developer Projects. Perhaps, missed something. Anyway: Please update this thread, when you find something. In the mean time: Go for a third button, called Help. That can be shown all time and you need that anyway for Java Verified.

    Thanks for the link, I'll try the demo, and update when I find something..
    Same here. Got the exact same problem when using both LWUIT and LCDUI

    About the help button, of course I will add it

    Yes, and if you have a help button which is constantly showing, I am sure, your designer is fine with that.

    You can achieve this by forcing the display to full screen.

    Display.getInstance().setForceFullScreen(true);
    Display.setObjectTrait(Display.getInstance().getImplementation(), "nokia.ui.canvas.status_zone", Boolean.TRUE);
