Question Regarding Navigation from one view to another in Nokia Asha

    Hi,

Am newbie to Nokia Asha Java Midlet development. I was struggling more than a day to find the navigation from one view to another. Could anyone please help regarding this. Please send me any tutorials or any sample source code. Thanks in advance.

You can find many UI-oriented examples if you visit "Resources" above and check Code examples there. Then normally you want to select technology and dig a bit further, but right now in this very moment the latest example is already a Java UI-related one with view switching.

Wat are you using to build your UI ?

    If you are using LCDUI/Canvas,

    You can use

    Display.getDisplay(MIDletObject).setCurrent(displayableObject)

Your app will have a class that extends MIDlet. You need to pass a reference of that as MIDlet object. The Displayable is the form/canvas/Game canvas or any other displayable object you want to show.

If you are using LWUIT, you can directly call the show method of the second Form.
