    NS_ERROR_FAILURE nsIDOMWindow.outerWidth while requesting API in Gecko Browser Frame

    Hello,

    we have implemented the Javascript API of the HERE maps in our web project and it works very fine. But now we have a problem visiting the project in a Gecko Browser Frame in our windows application. If we include the javascript api, the following error appears:

    Code:
    [JavaScript Error: "NS_ERROR_FAILURE: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMWindow.outerWidth]" {file: "http://api.maps.nokia.com/2.2.4/base.js" line: 233}]
    I think the error comes from the code:

    Code:
    //*****************************************************************************
    // WebBrowserChrome::nsIEmbeddingSiteWindow
    //*****************************************************************************

    NS_IMETHODIMP WebBrowserChrome::GetDimensions(uint32_t aFlags, int32_t *x, int32_t *y, int32_t *cx, int32_t *cy)
    {
     if (aFlags & nsIEmbeddingSiteWindow::DIM_FLAGS_POSITION)
     {
      *x = 0;
      *y = 0;
     }
     if (aFlags & nsIEmbeddingSiteWindow::DIM_FLAGS_SIZE_INNER ||
      aFlags & nsIEmbeddingSiteWindow::DIM_FLAGS_SIZE_OUTER)
     {
      *cx = 0;
      *cy = 0;
     }
     return NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED;
    }
    If we visit our web project with the Gecko Demo Browser, it is the same. Only if we visit our project with the Firefox or in IE then everything works fine.

    Can anyone help?

    Regards, Kristian

    Re: NS_ERROR_FAILURE nsIDOMWindow.outerWidth while requesting API in Gecko Browser Fr

    We have found the solution. It seems that the standard Gecko Engine Browser contains not the entire browse functionality. If we compile the Gecko engine with the extended functionality, then it works.
