    And Unintslaled the symbian^3 SDK also.

    Started new Symbian^3 SDK installation and it has triggered active perl installation then I installed in C:\Perl\.

    I checked in the Path of environment variable also it was showing "C:\Perl\" only

    But still the error during the build or running of my App

    The errors

    The communication port could not be opened. Either it is in use by another application or it does not exist on the system. OSError:

    Would it make sense first to get the tools working, and use emulator, before working on any device debugging issues.

    So do try building for the emulator first, and then try runing in the emulator. and once you get these working, try out first building for the device, and if the building works, then try run it on the device.

    Can you actually define the error? There should nto be CODA related error's when building for emulator, and your image on the latest post was not showing any errors.

    the CODA should be only efecting on device debugging. The Udeb problem is because you have errors on your build, thus the exe is made. Thus chekc what actual compilation errors you are getting.

    Re: Installation flow of symbian SDK's,active perl and Java Runtime etc?

    Follwoing Your decission I searched and found the link for EPOCROOT environment variable must be capitalised problem

    http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...d-message-quot

    According to suggestion or solution given by "yigerenliulan " i.e Commenting the "die line" in e32env.pm

    has solved the problem for me:
    #die "EPOCROOT environment variable must be capitalised\n" if (!$found);

    I have tried it,it worked.

    I have edited e32env.pm

    #die "EPOCROOT environment variable must be capitalised\n" if (!$found);

    So Now I have tried to buld Now the following errors shown

    BLDMAKE ERROR: Can't find any RVCT installation.

    === BLDMAKE Command failed with error code 1 ===
    ***Stopping. Check the Problems view or Console output for errors.

    ***Errors were detected in build. See the Problems or Console view for details.

    So I have edited bld.imf and removed ARMV5 then after running again the application Iam seeing

    In Emulator Debug It was building the sis file ***SIS Creation Complete.

    But when I try to build with Phone Release Iam seeing the following errors

    process_begin: CreateProcess((null), arm-none-symbianelf-g++ -print-libgcc-file-name, ...) failed.
    process_begin: CreateProcess((null), arm-none-symbianelf-g++ -print-file-name=libsupc++.a, ...) failed.

    Re: Installation flow of symbian SDK's,active perl and Java Runtime etc?

    Have you installed the GCCE toolchain? It is offered actually at the end of installation of the SDK,..But and you can also do that later from the Start Menu program group of the SDK

    I would not know what could be going wrong in there, anyway, if you check the images, one of them has suggestion on where you could find support.
