Post Enabling Security permission for my application

I am working on a media application targeting E71 and E72 and my application requires reading of contact and updating a specific attribute in the contact. When I run the application in the device, as a user I am being prompted with permission request for accessing the contacts every time I make a call to the address book.

How do I avoid this? I have signed my application.

How can I created a trusted application so that I can avoid the permission pop up.

    Regards
    kaash

What have you signed it with?

To avoid the security popups, it'll have to be a certificate from Thawte or Verisign (that'll cost you $299 a year).

Alternatively you can have Nokia sign it for you - if your app passes QA.

From the post it seems that application is already installed in device and the pop up show when the app tries to access user address book contact.Accessing user contacts only require basic capabilities if not mistaken so there should be no security pop up.Just a guess since you give so little details.

Accessing address book will give a security popup - unless the app is signed with a certificate from Thawte or Verisign.
