    There is a On-Device-Debugging module in the new Asha SDK. Does that make problems?

    I am also facing similar issue. When I was trying to debug my application using 'Nokia Asha SDK 1.0 Emulator' in 'Nokia IDE for Java ME v2'. It is showings a message ' Debug <Composed UI, Connecting o port 3500>' and on emulator log it is showing following message for any application :

    Emulator command: C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_Asha_SDK_1_0\bin\Nokia_Asha_SDK_1_0_em.exe -debugger -vm_port 3500 -classpath "C:\Users\Govind\AppData\Local\Temp\_mtj.tmpGovind\ComposedUI30104.launch\ComposedUI.jar" "C:\Users\Govind\AppData\Local\Temp\_mtj.tmpGovind\ComposedUI30104.launch\ComposedUI.jad"

    I have set my breakpoint at

    public void startApp() {
    appDataStorage = AppDataStorage.getInstance(this);
    appDataStorage.load(); /*This line has been toggled as breakpoint*/

    itemStorage = new ItemStorage(appDataStorage);
    tabManager = new TabManager(this);
    doSaveState = true;

    boolean restoreSucceeded = tabManager.restoreViewsFromAppDataStorage(itemStorage);

    if (restoreSucceeded == false) {
    Displayable view1 = new SplitView(itemStorage, tabManager);
    Displayable view2 = new ListView(itemStorage, tabManager);
    Displayable view3 = new GridView(itemStorage, tabManager);

    tabManager.addTab(view1, "/split-view-icon.png", "Custom command label");
    tabManager.addTab(view2, "/list-view-icon.png");
    tabManager.addTab(view3, "/grid-view-icon.png");
    tabManager.showTab();
    }

    Orientation.addOrientationListener(this);
    }

    Please help me out.

    Perhaps you are running out of memory, which is a finite resource. Here is the Nokia Asha 501 specs: https://developer.nokia.com/Devices/...ions/Asha_501/, and Memory Functions lists "Maximum Heap Size 3 MB".
    Runtime is the class which can tell you the actual memory conditions.
