Nokia Publish not providing necessary information for UID QA issue

I've broken this up into a few stages to make it easier to follow:

    Stage 1:
We submitted our application, for Symbian touch screen devices, called PuzzleStones on the 6th of August. After a delay of 2.5 weeks we contacted Nokia Publish to find out the cause.

On 23/08/2013 we received a reply stating that the UID we used has not been assigned to our company.

At this point I used the SDK tools to open up the SIS file and start querying the contents. The outer layer contained the Qt Smart Installer and the embedded SIS file contained our application. When queried with Petran from the SDK it output the following information:
"PETRAN - PE file preprocessor V02.02 (Build 000)
    E32ImageFile 'file0\file0'
    Secure ID: 20071509
    Vendor ID: 00000000
    Capabilities: 00000000 00002000
    NetworkServices"

In addition this was further verified by the package file, which contained the following entry:
    "#{"PuzzleStones"}, (0x20071509), 1, 0, 0, TYPE=SA"
And the PuzzleStones_reg.rsc which reported the UID as:
    "0x20071509"

The UIDs 0x20071509, 0x2007150a & 0x2007150b were assigned to us on 30/07/2013 and all the tools, including the 3rd party SisContents, agreed that 0x20071509 was what the application was reporting.

    Stage 2:
We tried several times over the following days to inform Nokia via the Nokia Publish tool(which failed to open a ticket for us) and eventually over e-mail(which did work) that this was what we were seeing on our end. We requested that they provide the UID they were seeing on their end so that we can diagnose what the problem is.

On 29/08/2013 we received an e-mail and were told:
"I understand that you are seeking clarification with regard to your PuzzleStones content failure message. Please be informed that since you have provided us with your feedback, I have already coordinated this matter to the appropriate team for advice. Rest assured that I will get back to you for an update."

We have been waiting for the answer to this question since then.

    Stage 3:
We received a QA Failure report today for the Content Item saying that the UID did not match one assigned to us. However, the report was not properly filled out due to this line in the e-mail:
"The UID displayed in your application is: [insert UID displayed here]"

They were supposed to include the UID being reported by the application, but have not done so. This is the single piece of information we have been trying to find out since 23/08/2013 for a Content Item submitted nearly one month ago.

    The e-mail then states:
"In order for us to process your content for signing, it will need to be repackaged with a UID assigned to you by Nokia and resubmitted as soon as possible. This will help us avoid any unnecessary delays in the further processing of your content upon re-submission.
For more information on "Packaging and Signing your content", please go to the following link for assistance: select one below
    Symbian: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ymbian_Signed)
QT: http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7/qmake-pl...ue-identifiers (public, Moderation signing stalled -> Qa failed)"

These were exactly the steps that we followed, using a UID that had been assigned to us.

    Request for help:
If we follow those steps as laid out in the e-mail again, using the UID assigned to us, we are going to have the same problem repeated.

Clearly there has either been a problem with the Qt Creator tool chain or with our UID range not being properly assigned to us. This is why we need to know what UID is being seen at the Nokia Publishing end, so that we can diagnose the problem and fix it.

We have tried numerous times now to get this information and I'm raising it here in the hopes that someone will see it and help us get the information that was supposed to be included in the failure report.

[Our lead engineer spent nearly 5 years of their life working for Symbian/Nokia so UIDs are not an alien concept over here, but without this single piece of information we can't fix whatever is wrong]

    Thank you for any help.

Re: Nokia Publish not providing necessary information for UID QA issue

First you need to request Uid from nokia developer support. Then use those Uid in your app and submit unsigned version to QA.Nokia publish will sign the app for free and publish it.If you want to sign the app at symbiansigned then you need to open an account at symbiansigned and request your Uid from there and have the app sign at symbiansigned with some kind of fees i think..It's that simple only.Where did you request the Uid you now have?.

The UIDs were requested from Nokia Publish and we are using one of the ones that they e-mailled to us. It's defined in the Qt project file using the relevant MMP keyword and a full clean and rebuild was performed. The unsigned version was packaged up via Qt Creator and submitted for Nokia Publish.

All the tools we've used are reporting the correct UID from the application, as assigned to us by Nokia.

Then when you can just put the Uid email you receive from nokia support in "additional document" section as proof that the Uid is belong to you.
