How to open Network Setting from our app?

I got comment from QA team like below
    Comments from the QA team:
    FAILED: Poor user experience.
SUMMARY: This item has been rejected since it does not meet the quality standards for Nokia Store content. Please improve the quality of your application's user experience before resubmitting to the Nokia Store.
ACTUAL RESULT: An alert message 'This application require internet access' is dispalyed after launching the application. And there is only a option 'Exit' to select. And the same situation appears when re-open the application. (public, Moderation stalled -> Qa failed)

I am not sure how to fix this so I think I should add Setting Network Button.
    When user open application with no internet connection then, show user alert option which are;
    1) Setting Network
    2) Exit

For show "Setting Network" Is there any function to go there? Or any other solution?
PS. I haven't signed a certification before export .jar and .jad < Is it involved?

    Thank you so much,
    April

Re: How to open Network Setting from our app?

It is not possible to open settings view from Java ME. However what is certainly possible is to give a far more detailed description about what to do, like how to enable cellular / WiFi data, how to manage access settings for the Midlet suite, etc.
"FAILED: Poor user experience" certainly means this kind of problem, not something about the JAD file.

Yes, I agree that you might want to display a more user friendly message.

There is a webinar that you might be interested in, which is taking place later today. It could be a good idea to ask your question there too

It means that the tester is not able to enter the application itself.

It looks that on launch of the app- your are trying to connect to internet in case if the connection fails you are showing this Alert. If this is the case - try to educate the user in your messaging as how to he can enable internet on the device - wifi/3g data and give permission to your app to use it and relaunch the app.

On re-launch if the settings are done - the app should work.
    thanks,
