Building Qt 4.8.5 for Belle FP2

    Hello there,
Nokia Qt/Diga released a few fixes for 4.8, including some for Symbian.
maybe they will be included in next firmware updates (if Nokia updates Symbian, but that's anther question ...) ?

Let's ignore sigining, certs, capabilties and installing on Z:\ etc., there's this tutorial http://qt-project.org/wiki/Building_...bian_3_Devices

latest public PDK is from Symbian^3 and really outdated, is there any chance that a Symbian developer with latest Belle PDK can build and share it for the community?
Qt is open source and there are still a lot of Symbian programmers which want latest fixes and updates but as far as I know we can't build it.

    Regards

    Wrong place to ask...

And you can't, not "legally" anyway, and since discussing things like downgrading is frowned upon on here it's best to Google it.

I wouldn't mind that to be honest,
even the old Belle Emulator SDK program hasn't being updated since early Belle.

Did the moderators talk to Accenture's Symbian Developer team?

I wonder if there is even anyone working on Symbian anymore, I seriously doubt there is.

I am not sure what you mean. Note that moderators are moderators, we are checking the boards for abuse, moving misplaced posts, deleting spam, and occasionally answering questions. And on top of it, we are volunteers, spending some time here, but not representing or working for Nokia. What should we do with Accenture?

Given that Symbian Signed was shut down just yesterday, and Nokia Store does not accept new Symbian content any more, it is going to be hard to make money from Symbian.
See the announcement if you missed it: http://developer.nokia.com/Community...January-1-2014.

Can you tell us who can help us?
I thought you are in contact with Nokia Publish, Developer Support and Accenture's Symbian team.
