    [moved] motion games

Hello. why I can't play java motion games, although I have a nokia n79 with accelerometer?
I receive the error: "No Class Def Found Error javax.lang.NoClassDefFoundError javax.microedition.sensor.DataListener " .
I tried 2-3 games or apps but the error persists. Please give me a solution.

    Re: motion games

Sensors are handled by the Mobile Sensor API, shortly described here: http://developer.nokia.com/Community...ors_in_Java_ME.
The very first sentence contains important things: "S60 5th Edition devices support Mobile Sensor API (JSR-256)." It suggests that the API is not available for earlier devices, and the other article it refers a bit later, http://developer.nokia.com/Community...ors_in_Java_ME, also suggests that. The N79, https://developer.nokia.com/Devices/...fications/N79/, is an S60 3rd FP2 device, and if you check its APIs list, indeed it does not list JSR-256.
The question is moved to the Java boards now.
