    geocode: get location by location id not always working?

    Hi all!
    I'm trying to get the details of a location using the locationId returned from a search query but it doesn't work, for example, i have this query:

    which returns the following location:

    but, if i try to get the location details using the same locationId get nothing:

    <ns2:Search xmlns:ns2="http://www.navteq.com/lbsp/Search-Search/4">

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    To obtain geocode results on Windows Phone you should use the GeocodeQuery class. An example on how to do this can be found here

    Questions about the Restful Geocoder API should be sent to StackOverflow - you will get a better response rate there.

    I suspect the reason Area_21002647_PRI doesn't work is that "Chicago" does not resolve to a point address. The API Reference defines locationid as "A key uniquely identifying a physical location." If you use a full address to obtain a locationid and use the locationid thereafter it works as shown: http://geocoder.cit.api.here.com/6.2/geocode.xml?locationid=NT_HoZefYX0bMxoVxCkp1uk2C_1
