    Is there a Uid list? [SOLVED]

    I want to distiguish the message entries after synchronising IMAP headers because the response of entries includes both actual messages and sub-folders.

    The is a TMsvEntry TUidi iType which appears to provide the distinction between folder and message entries but I cannot find an enumerated list of definitions that I can compare against.

    is there such a Uid list somewhere?

    similar to this you will have different uids depending on the notification type of message received.

    Re: Is there a Uid list?

    Thank you mateen for you quick reply.

    I actually stumbled upon someone's code inanother post and tracking it through the declarations identified the include file msvuids.h as the answer!

    const TUid KUidMsvFolderEntry={KUidMsvFolderEntryValue};
    const TUid KUidMsvMessageEntry={KUidMsvMessageEntryValue};

    For your reference I also managed to find some on-line SDK help files (but I couldn't find any reference under TMsvEntry documentation for the Uids...)

    Yes, somehow the Symbian SDK was always missing some references to files (and personally I also missed the actual values for constants too).
    The header files contain a lot of information, sometimes examples, sometimes things which simply do not appear in the documentation. You may often want to use simple file search on the entire include folder (I even had a copy of it on a flash drive for faster search), or even index them with some desktop search tool (Copernic, perhaps some older version of Google Desktop, etc.).
