    This makes me sad:

Thanks Microsoft, Mr Elop or whoever removed this files after they got re-uploaded ...
This is Jen from Nokia/Microsoft. I'm the Nokia Developer community administrator.

As announced last year, Nokia officially stopped supporting Symbian/Meego/Qt SDKs on January 1 2014. I left the SDKs on the wiki as long as I could but had to remove them last week.

I know how frustrating it is to spend time and energy learning to develop on a platform and creating apps for that platform, only to have it removed. I'm sorry, and I wish there were something I could do to help. If there is a specific SDK that you need, send me a PM and I may be able to help you on a one-off basis if I have access to the file.
    How can I help?

I see that you have uploaded (unless you are not the same @huellif who is on twitter) most of the things, and for the benefit of all others interested in it, here is the link https://www.mediafire.com/folder/79j...an_Development

    Hi, Jen
Thank you again for your continued support of the developers who are still working on their Symbian projects
i have another request, but i honestly have very low hope for this one: do you by any chance have any of the 3rd Edition C++ Developer's libraries cached somewhere?

    Thank you
    matthew

Edit/Add: i have been extensively Googling, but haven't found these resources in an offline format.

    Yes I am
I also changed the Symbian and Qt Wiki pages and updated the download links, now they use non Nokia links:
    http://developer.nokia.com/community..._C%2B%2B#Tools
    http://developer.nokia.com/community/wiki/Qt#Qt_SDK

    Is this OK?

    Re: Symbian Resources

Some time ago we had the discussion about how to navigate from the wiki to discussions or vice versa. Some users wished the old navigation back but that was denied.

I just had an idea how this might be possible without the old navigation bar:
In the top 'path control' (I mean the 'Home > Discussion > Site Feedback & News > Feedback - Nokia Developer Services & Infrastructure > New Nokia Developer Beta' bar) only the page names (Home, Discussion etc.) are hyperlinks. I could imagine the first > character be a hyperlink opening a little menu with the (main) pages one can go from there, e.g. Wiki, Discussion, Blogs. The other > chars could work similarly.

    Any thoughts about this?

    Re: Symbian Resources

It could work but many users won't discover it unless the representation is made fairly obvious.
Also, I think there is a need for having a direct link to Wiki and Dibo from anywhere in ND, it could make these more discoverable and drive more traffic.

Isn't it enough if it works for power users? At least better than not having it

influencer I've been thinking about this suggestion. It's really quite genius. However I think it's too obscure to be useful, unless linking through cookie delineators becomes the industry standard.

For advanced users, generally the wiki is in the most visited section in the toolbar. When I type "wiki" into my toolbar it comes up. When I type "discussion" the dibo comes up. I will be the first to agree with you that the navigation is not ideal though. I will keep trying to get them to change it.

I have to add a little correction. I meant not a hyperlink but a menu that opens when hovering over the '>' character in order to need just one click to switch to dibo or wiki.

I had a feeling that I had seen this somewhere, and indeed it was suggested by Vineet, apart from others although Jennifer had clarified regarding that but the context probably did not go noticed by many, there was a separate post with only the relevant text
