NFC App on not supported device

    Hi,

I have a free NFC App called NFC Safe (http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=...c-1317827e18d8) and I'm wondering what will happen, if a device does not support NFC. Will my app listed in the Windows Phone Store for those users? Can my app be installed on such devices or will the user get an error message that his device is not supported?

I also implement code in the start up of my app to tell the user if his device does not support NFC and then it closes my app, but I'm unable to test this, because my device and the emulators are supporting NFC.

Maybe some has a device without NFC and can test this please? :-)

    Best Regards,
    Sascha

Re: NFC App on not supported device

You can edit the Apps ApplicationManifest in visual studio to define that the App definitely requires NFC. If you set that flag it won't be installable on devices without that feature.

    It's called ID_REQ_NFC, see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...rerequirements
