Imaging Package in a WCF service

I know this might sound a little odd but can the imaging library be used in a WCF service?

The problem I ran into is the IBuffer is part of the Windows library and I don't see a suitable replacement on the server side.

The use case I have is uploading full resolution images and creating multiple scaled images to save on transmission time an cost when requested by various mobile devices.

    Thanks.

Re: Imaging Package in a WCF service

WCF services to my knowledge can only be hosted in the Win32 Runtime. The Imaging SDK however is a WinRT component. So going by that: no, you can't use the Nokia Imaging SDK on your server. Creating thumbnails is however something that should easily be handled by the regular .Net framework functionality, e.g.: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...=vs.85%29.aspx
