    # of Bytes of The Picture

    I created a 72*21 pixels bmp file and convrt it into hexadecimal form.I expect to get a length of 9*21=168 characters message.But it was 320 BYTES .Why is it so long?What is the problem?

    Without any idea what sort of software or even method that you are using, it's a bit tough to say, but I suspect the problem is that you created a Windows Bitmap file. This is not the same format as OTA Bitmaps used for logos, picture messages, etc...

    Saving your file as "portable bitmap" should get you a little closer, but when I tried it just now it saved the image as *strings* of 0's and 1's with spaces in between, so I got 2 bytes of string for every bit of data in the original! You need to get or develop a utility for converting your images to OTA bitmap format.
