    Where is the PIM permission?

I have an app which adds events to Calendar. It works fine on emulator (SDK 1.1). However, I believe I have to add the PIM permission to jad file before submitting for publication. So when I try to 'add' in 'required permission', I don't see PIM option at all (no javax.microedition.pim). How do I add the PIM permission now?

Re: Where is the PIM permission?

I'm assuming you mean you don't see that permission option in the eclipse jad editor wizard, but you can always edit the jad manually (in the editor wizard its under the last tab or simply open it with text editor)
and add your needed permission for PIM the ones that are available are:

    javax.microedition.pim.ContactList.read
    javax.microedition.pim.EventList.read
    javax.microedition.pim.ToDoList.read
    javax.microedition.pim.ContactList.write
    javax.microedition.pim.EventList.write
    javax.microedition.pim.ToDoList.write

Your assumption is correct. Thank you. I will try to do it manually. Shouldn't it show up in the signing tab of the wizard ?- Is it normal or am I doing something wrong ?
