QML Partices equivalent on Windows Phone

I had lots of fun with QML Particles. Is there a similar thing on Windows Phone?

Any advice on how I should go about it or is the only answer to program it up myself?

I did a starburst style effect and I also did a raining effect with particles in QT.

    Thanks.

So you're used to writing apps in QT / QML, and you'd like to know if there's anything similar on Windows Phone?

Yes. I had lots of fun with animations in qml in particular. I'm new to Xaml and C#. I've got the boring stuff worked out already, page navigation, sound, interactions (Touch) and I'm about to start on the more fun parts - animations and special effects.

Very helpful thanks. There's no built in animation support for particles, but the core animation effects are all there.
