    PushRegistry and WTK 2.0

    Guys,
    I use Wireless Toolkit 2.0 and recently been trying to do some push activation.
    Is this at all possible, I mean can you test alarm / incoming network connection midlet activation on WTK and emulators it provides?
    I first tried registerAlarm() and it doesn't seem to work - correct me if I'm wrong, what I do is
    PushRegistry.registerAlarm(this.getClass().getName(),calendar.getTime().getTime() + 5000);
    and then I start the midlet,make sure registration pulled off, exit the midlet and wait those 5 sec for it to activate - and nothing happens.
    Isn't this the way I should do it?
    Another thing is activation through an incoming connection. Can I test it at all on WTK?
    Please, need any hint on this, I would greatly appreciate any help.
    Pawel

    I have the same (negative) experience. I also tried emulators from Nokia (without success), not yet tried to run the code on real 6600 device. Anyone can comment on this ?

    Hello I've tested successfully the PushRegistry.registerAlarm with a Nokia 5140.
    The only issue I have, is that user is prompted ( with a really low sound ) to run the MIDlet.
    I don't know yet if with a certificate ( and which level ) the MIDlet would start immediately.
    So even if the emulators don't seem to support it ( I had same problem ) it seems to be ok on real MIDP 2.0 phones

    I've already opened a question on the registerAlarm topic:

    i think that you should sign the package before.
