CHARACTERISTICS OF NOKIA JAVA-ENABLED PHONES Version 1.0

In the Nokia document titled "CHARACTERISTICS OF NOKIA JAVA-ENABLED PHONES Version 1.0", said the following specs for the Nokia 3410.

    - Memory for MIDlets ~150KB
    - Heap Memory Size ~ 164KB
    - Persisten Storage Size <blank>

Does this mean that you cannot "persist" records through RMS because this phone has no persistent storage? I see a couple of unreplied postings in the forum relating to RMS on 3410.

The document also states that the only "Provision Mode" on the 3410 is WAP. Does this mean that the only way I can load my MIDlet into the phone is by putting the MIDlet on the Internet and downloading it into the phone through WAP.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Any phone that conforms to CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 has to have atleast some storage space. (if Nokia conformed to the specs)

And yes your only way of getting your MIDlets on the phone is using the WAP, sucks if your paying.
