    appending packets to a buffer

    Hi,

I am reading packets of data from a socket into a buffer with consecutive reads. How can I keep a pointer to the position in the buffer where the last read ended, and pass that to the socket's read method as many times as I need ?!

Some code would be very helpful.

    Thanks in advance,
    Djazia

    Hi

You could try using TPtr at least.

    See working example

Don't know if this will help, I keep the received packets on a linked list instead of a large string.
