    Database updates other than SyncML?

My understanding is that SyncML is designed to create a complete replica of the server database on the client. Does part of the standard (or does Nokia implement other standards . . )that let a client request, for example, all Calendar entries for this week?

Or all Address entries in this zip/area code?

Or is it all or nothing?

    Thanks,
    Mike

RE: Database updates other than SyncML?

As far as I know SyncML is divided into two parts, the transport part and the presentation part. It's the applications on both ends which define what content is delivered between the client and the server. Thus, you should be able to create a client/server application which transfers only data needed at the other end.
