    Problem with Forums (not Nokia!) :)

    Hi everyone,

    As I go through these posts, I keep having this problem when people post their source code. For instance, with a post by longSteve on raw Pixel data, he posted this source code:


    // allocate the byte array
    byte [] data = new byte [(width * height) >> 3];

    ... but what is >> ?
    ... I also get <<

    Any ideas? Thank you everyone!

    & gt is the "greater than" symbol:

    That's what I thought. That's why I put the << and the >> at the end of my post to test it. Why does that one show up, but some peoples don't?

    Anyway, thanks for that! It helps alot!
