    menu options in SMS messages

    Hi,

Is there any way to include menu options, buttons, etc. in SMS messages........ such that when the receiving user chooses one of the buttons, a corresponding reply is sent to the original sender?
    SOmething like the WML messages?

I am writing an application which needs to send some options to the mobile user over SMS. The user can then select one of the options and the corresponding message should be sent as reply to the application.

Is this possible using the Smart Messaging technology from Nokia?

    Thanks.

    Hi!

No, is not possible. Why don't you create a WAP/XHTML site?

WAP require GPRS kind of connectivity

What if user doens't have WAP availibility on his network.

Is there any Solution for strict SMS based solution ?

i believe, it is not there... You can check with "SmartTrust" solutions for GSM where they have menu driven application (actually application stored and running in SIM Card)...

Hope for this info, you can find somthing more... if any q let me know.

    Hi!

Yes, such a menu system could be build using SIM Toolkit or using USSD protocol. But in both cases you need co-operation with your operator.

Is there networks somewhere that does not support WAP?
