    Error on target device

    Hi

    I am developing a game.

It runs fine on the emulator. But when I run it on the emulator, after running some time it gives a KERN-EXEC 3 error.

Can anyone please tell what could be the possible problem?

    Regards
    Ashish

    From the API documentation:

"This panic is raised when an unhandled exception occurs. Exceptions have many causes, but the most common are access violations caused, for example, by dreferencing NULL. Among other possible causes are: general protection faults, executing an invalid instruction, alignment checks, etc."

From my experience, the most common cause is null pointer dereference. But it may as well be alignment issues. (Due to the conflict in your message subject and body I assume you get a crash on hardware.) For example, reading/writing a TInt at a non-aligned address which is legal on x86 but not on ARM.

Seems to me as some memory problem. You should check if you don't use some variable you have already deleted, etc...
