    addCommand and setCommandListener

    Hi all,

I am compiling my first j2me program from jbuilder personal. The program is helloworldmidlet available as a sample. The run command gives errors as "addCommand and setCommandListener methods of javax.microedition.lcdui.Displayable has NO such PUBLIC methods". I know that these are implemented as PUBLIC.
Please note its just sample program from JBUILDER personal IDE.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

Are you using JBuilder MobileSet, Nokia Edition? If not then the problem could be that you haven't set CLDC and MIDP API clasess in the project's class path.

This can be done by setting the neccessary CLDC and MIDP classess in the project's required libraries(Project|Project Properties...). For example, if you are using Sun's J2ME Wireles Toolkit, then you have to set midpapi.zip package in the project's required libraries. This package is provided in the Sun's J2ME Wireless Toolkit.

Also check that you are using JRE 1.3.

Please let me know if this solves the problem

    regards,
