I wrote a little tool Getting Cell ID and Phone Info

Currently only available as a .exe, I didn't want to hold it back for people to see that it can be done. Download it here:

    http://www.hipergames.com/symbian/GETCELLID.EXE

Then use some kind of a file browser on the phone to browse to the exe file and execute it.
It will display all kinds of information about your phone and the cell network you are currently in.

Eventually I will turn this into an app, where you can build your own minigps and/or an SDK that lets you use this info in your own apps.

Other symbian stuff can be found on my website, www.hipergames.com

    Comments are appreciated.
    Enjoy!
