has anyone tried to get very big ip packets through gprs ?
i wrote a gprs client (modifying the socket example) that sends
an http request to a server and then should get a very long
now, i've noticed that when the size of the ip packets exceeds
1404 bytes the client behaves just as if it didn't receive anything
from the physical channel, not sending any acks to the server, nor
doing anything else.
so, the responses which i typically get are made of a first packet shorter than 1404 and a series of packets longer than that:
the first one is received without problems, the others are not
received at all.
is this a problem of the symbian's implementation of the socket
server ? or what else could it be ?
