Installing multiple components with a single installation

    Hi all,

I am developing a project for the 3650 that involves multiple applications and executables. I was wondering if it is possible to package all of these up into a single .SIS file so that whenever I make a change I can perform a single installation that will bring all of my code up to date.

I have looked over the format for the PKG file, and it is not clear to me whether multiple package headers are allowed. (Since I have 4 compoinents in the project, there are 4 different UIDs that I will be dealing with.) Is it allowable to have multiple package headers in the PKG file? If so, is there a particular way in which the package header lines should be ordered so that the PKG file knows which files belong to which component?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Dave

You can create one SIS for each of your subcomponent.
And list them the following way in the PKG file of your main app:
    Code:
    @"subcomponent1.sis",(0x1xxxxxxx)
    @"subcomponent2.sis",(0x1xxxxxxx)
    Cheers
