    Hello!

    The example I posted, contains both, MMS and Browser settings. Yes, you can have only active set that contains ALL settings at the time.

    The posted sample you provide is working for 6600 ?

    Why w4 section have no STARTPAGE, and an ADDR instead ?
    Is that correct?

    Thanks

    Hello!

    w4 is a MMS client, it has a only one URL is possible, that is the MMSC address.

    As you can see from the registeration files:

    Characteristic/name: APPLICATION/ADDR.
    Status: Required.
    Occurs: 1/1.
    Default value: None.
    Used values: N/A.
    Interpretation: Absolute MMS Proxy-Relay URL.
    -------

    EXAMPLE
    #######
    <characteristic type="APPLICATION">
    <parm name="APPID" value="w4"/>
    <parm name="NAME" value="Operator MMS Server"/>
    <parm name="ADDR" value="http://mms.operator.com/MMS"/>
    </characteristic>

    Hello,
    I have tried to setup a GPRS setting just exactly it is shown in your example, but the 6600 phone is not able to create the connection.

    Now, strange enough, the following example works, and the phone creates the connection and is able to surf.

    I say strange, because in theory I have to create a PXLOGICAL tag for configuring the proxy, but instead of that the app tag is calling directly the NAPDEF tag.

    How can it works without configuring the proxy?

    thanks

    the working example is:

    Hi!

    OMA should provide these registeration documents, but you can find them as well from Forum Nokia site.

    Seems that you don't need a proxy for "xxxxx.yyyy.zz" APN.

    GPRS setup for Nokia 6600

    Hi.
    I have had the same problem accessing my messages or connecting GPRS. I found that the local network provider will set it up either by sending you 3 messages which you save and it fixes it or you can pay them a visit and it takes 10 minutes to be fixed. Good luck.
