MS Word incompatible with CS Help?

I successfully ran the help compiler for the 6.0 SDK "Shapes" help project example, but when I opened the .rtf and saved it with the current version of MS Word, the compiler issues this error:

    <Section level="0"> tags may only contain <p style="comment">
    and <section level="1"> tags.
    Currently:- <p>Microsoft Word 10.0.2627;</p>

Apparently this version of Word adds a tag that wasn't issued by earlier versions, and this has broken the help compiler.

With help from elsewhere, I found that this error is issued by a perl script in file csptmlfl.pm in ...\Tools\cshlpcmp\perl of the SDK. Function _ProcSectionLevel0Node is the culprit, but it isn't clear to me how to change this to fix the problem.

Has anybody solved this problem, and if so, what did you do?

    Thanks,

    Mark Peters

Yes, I'm doing the same thing as well. The problem is that this is a hack that will cause trouble down the road when tech writers are maintaining the help.

The proper solution is for Symbian/Nokia to fix the tools.
